Bay Country Celebrates 25th Year Anniversary

This year Bay Country Contractors has reached it's 25th year in business.  Home based in Leonardtown, Maryland, originally incorporated as a utility contractor.  Bay Country has expanded to other construction support services over the years.  This year we've opened another office in Fredericksburg, VA and have expanded our operations to serve that area.  We are currently working several projects aboard Marine Corps Base, Quantico.

We are pleased to announce the following staff additions to the Maryland Office in Finance & Administration and both Maryland & Virginia's Estimating and Project Management Departments:

·     Shelby MADDOX also joined us in August as our new college intern receptionist.  Shelby attends the College of Southern Maryland and is a nursing student. We are glad you are here! receptionist@baycc.net

·     Lisa ABRAMS has joined us as the Administrative Assistant to the Maryland Estimating & Project Management Division. Lisa is a temporary staff working through Manpower.

Project Name: Repair Base Pump Stations- Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA

 Contract Value:$4.3 M

Contract Date:  December 2009

Completion Date:March 2011

Scope of work: concurrentlyworked on 23sewer pump stations:  mechanical and general repair of 13 existing, demolition of 3 existing and provided 5 new “turn-key”

With over 20 different work sites this project posed significant logistic challenges. Coordination with MCBQ personnel was crucial to the project’s success.
